Bakery Schleich trains retail sales specialists for bakery counter sales in a three-year apprenticeship. The training covers customer service, sales conversations, specialist knowledge of bakery and confectionery, as well as quality control and presentation techniques. In addition, apprentices learn how to prepare snacks and breakfast; vocational school takes place in blocks of about one week per month in Landshut. Pay is 860, 945 and 1085 euros per training year, and with good performance a shortened apprenticeship is possible. The family business in Frontenhausen emphasizes teamwork without night work and a guaranteed permanent position if both sides are satisfied.
